In VITRO Fertilization (IVF)

This method is to achieve conception in the laboratory by bringing the eggs together and an adequate number of sperm to be fertilized, have them developed in an incubator and then stored into the maternal womb.

The eggs and sperm used are obtained from the couple in treatment, but if necessary, under consent of both, the obtaining procedure can be also done through a donation.

This procedure is recommended when there is: male mild or moderate disorders, an alteration in the fallopian tubes or its tubal, ovulatory failure, failure in previous treatment with inseminations, elderly age, endometriosis, etc..

The pregnancy rate with IVF, depending on the diagnosis in couples up to 60% in case they use their own eggs and sperm, and to 70-80% if the donation is used.
